Kennedy and Teeth

I was listening to NPR as soon as I got to work this morning and I heard that the body of John F. Kennedy, Jr. was found along with the fuselage of his plane during the night. There is no word about his wife or her sister yet, but I am assuming their bodies will be found in the ocean as well. I can’t even venture I guess as to what went wrong to cause the plane crash, but it seems that several things happened that shouldn’t have. Kennedy was a new pilot and probably shouldn’t have been flying at night. The plane was one that he wasn’t used to. No instruments were used to keep him on the correct flight path and I’m sure that had something to do with the crash. No flight plan was filed so no one knew exactly when the party took off or when they were expected to land. These are just a few of the topics that have come to light regarding the plane crash and I think all of them are legitimate concerns. Whatever was the cause it is certainly a tragedy and it shouldn’t have happened.

Only one more day with these stupid fake plastic teeth! Tomorrow morning I am going to the dentist to have the permanent porcelain veneers put on and I couldn’t be more excited about it. The night guard the dentist gave me last week has kept the temporary veneers intact since last Wednesday, but they are still very uncomfortable. The only problem is that I won’t be able to get to work until after lunch. My appointment is at 9 AM in the morning and I am expected to be at the office for at least an hour and a half. I can’t sleep in either because I have to take my car to get the oil changed at 8 AM. I need to get that done before we leave for St. Augustine on Friday evening. I should have more interesting stuff to write about tomorrow, consequently, so keep your eyes open for a better entry than the others lately.
